Howard's extensive experience was acquired with both corporate-institutional and entrepreneurial organizations. He has directed the acquisition, disposition, financing, leasing and portfolio management of income and user properties in the S.E. Since 1992 his primary emphasis is transaction and advisory services for investors involved with income property concentrated in the greater Birmingham area. The property types most often utilized are apartments and office. Howard also continues service to previous corporate clients, healthcare providers and non-profit groups with site acquisition, lease negotiation and surplus space strategies. Formal education includes a MBA degree and a MS degree in Environmental Management. He is an Alabama certified real estate instructor for both licensing and continuing education for commercial practioners, serves on the editorial review board for the CCIM Journal and is a board member and 2005 president of the Alabama CCIM Chapter.
